The national PTA believes all children deserve a quality arts education and inspires students to reflect on a specific theme and create original art. Each year, students in grades K through 12 are recognized for bringing the theme to life through any of the six categories: Dance Choreography, Film Production, Literature, Music Composition, Photography, and Visual Arts. The Special Artist division is a non-judged division for qualifying students. Awards are given at the local, state, and national levels. Students may enter once per category, in one or more of the six categories.

 

2023-24 Theme: I Am Hopeful Because...

NHS students will submit their artwork to their school PTA for initial judging. The deadline this year will be Tuesday, November 21st, 2023. All initial entries will be submitted online, but please save your original artwork in case you are asked to submit by our local judges or the national PTA.

Complete this entry form and submit a copy of your artwork as instructed. Each entry needs to have a title and artist’s statement to qualify for submission. Please use this form for all entries - paper/handwritten entry forms will not be accepted.
