The NHS PTSA Academic Award acknowledges outstanding scholastic accomplishments. After the fall semester each year, Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors who have earned a 3.5 or higher cumulative grade point average (GPA) are recognized with an NHS Academic Award Certificate.

In addition to the Certificate, these students will have the option of selecting an additional award: a Chenille Letter "N" or Chenille Academic Patch (purchased by the student), or an Academic Award Medal (paid for by the PTSA). Details will be announced when the certificates are distributed in the spring.
